He said Ivan really knows what he was doing. My local dyno guy was very impressed with the tune when we ran it. I have the PCV and have no interest in changing it. The advantage would be you would just need a screwdriver instead of a laptop. I would guess it might be closer out of the box than a PCV but it would be just as hard to fine tune without a dyno as the PCV. I've done enough work with PC's that I know that flashing a BIOS or UEFI can make nice improvements, but manufacturers always warn you that if anything goes wrong during the flashing process it can render your PC a brick. The throttle response is inhuman and power distribution from beginning all the way to the higher 5900 rpms is breathtaking. The way this bike rides now is nothing short of impeccable. The thing that has been a cause for concern for me is that once you flash a processor it can sometimes be difficult to get back to the exact factory settings. And it didn't matter what setting it was on) (It did stop the popping on deceleration. There may have been differences inside the engine that I couldn't see but no real difference in acceleration, idle, performance, or gas mileage. I used the Cobra Fi2000 unit on my Yamaha 950T and no matter where I put the settings I could tell no difference in the way the bike ran. I thought I would have more control over how the bike ran.
